Our Services

  • Play therapy

As suggested by its name, play therapy uses play as a means to connect, explore, and learn. A warm, empathetic environment provides safety for the child to express their thoughts, emotions, and experiences through the act of play. Children may learn healthier ways to express their emotions, to make sense of challenging experiences, and to problem-solve.

  • Individual psychotherapy for youth

Psychotherapy (talk therapy) can be an effective treatment for a range of mental health issues. We are trained in a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). The psychologist can speak with you about what therapeutic modalities would be the best fit for your family’s needs.

  • Parent support

We know that it can be challenging to navigate children’s emotional and behavioural issues as a parent. Services for parents can include coaching on how to navigate specific mental health issues, exploration of co-parenting concerns, and support for caregiver burnout.

  • Training and consultation

Passionate about research and education, our psychologists can work with your school or organization to provide training and consultation on child and adolescent mental health issues.
